August 2010 - The northbound off-ramp at Norristown Road is excavated in an operation to lower the ramp to the new level of Norristown Road.  

August 2010 - A paving crew places the "binder" course on the rebuilt center section of Route 309 north of Norristown Road.  

July 2010 - Reconstruction of Norristown Road at the Route 309 interchange has shifted to the eastbound side, the final section of the roadway to be rebuilt.  

July 2010 - With most of the reconstruction completed in the center section of Route 309, crews will begin placing the second paving layer, the binder. Once the binder is in place, the contractor will begin laying the wearing course for the entire expressway north of Highland Avenue.
