July 2008 - An ironworker maneuvers a deck beam into place at the Route 309 overpass at Bethlehem Pike.  

July 2008 - Widening operations continue on a number of northbound bridges, including this one at Tennis Avenue. Reinforcing steel (rebars) will be placed atop the steel deck pans before the new concrete deck is poured.  

July 2008 - Lane closures and brief stoppages will occur in both directions at the Fort Washington interchange this week when crews erect these sign structures over the expressway.  

July 2008 - A backhoe excavates rock to create a path for the extension of Pennsylvania Avenue between Oreland and Fort Washington. The connection is scheduled to be completed this fall.  

July 2008 - Northbound Route 309 will be closed and detoured at Route 73 Tuesday night until Wednesday morning during beam setting operations for the Route 309 bridge over SEPTA, at the Fort Washington Interchange.  

June 2008 - Work continues to clear and widen the northbound side of Route 309 north of Highland Avenue.
